The Opportunity:
We are currently looking to fill summer field positions in our Forestry Department based out of our William’s Lake and Vernon Offices.
You’ll work alongside a team of RPFs and technicians, contributing to full-phase development, forest planning, and operational delivery across a variety of tenures—including community forest and First Nations partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutblock and road layout/design
- Riparian Assessments
- Site Plan Data Collection
- Forest development assessments and site plans
- Preparation of appraisal and permitting packages
- Timber Cruising
- Silviculture Assessments
What We’re Looking For:
- Some relevant forestry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of BC forestry regulations
- Strong communication, organization, and team skills
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Physically fit and comfortable with remote fieldwork
- Experience operating 4×4 trucks, quads, and sled
