Leadership Team

Kent is a Registered Forest Technologist with close to twenty years of experience in various forest operations and forest management and the founder, owner, and president of Consus
Management Ltd. Kent founded Consus in May of 2009 after more than ten years of working in various technical and supervisory roles for consulting companies and industry.
Kent enjoys mountain biking, skiing and spending time with his family in his spare time.

Mike is a Registered Professional Forester and Professional Agrologist with over ten years of forest management experience which began with Timberwest in 2002. Mike worked for multiple companies while completing an undergraduate degree in Natural Resource Science and Management, before joining Consus in the spring of 2010

Glenn joined Consus Management Ltd. in September of 2010. Most of Glenn’s work has been centered around the Cariboo-Chilcotin, with a brief stop in Prince George. Glenn has nearly 20 years of experience in timber development, silviculture management, and forest harvesting operations. For more than half of his career, Glenn has been involved with supporting and mentoring First Nation contractors working for licensees.

Tammy is the other half of team Watson. She is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and overseeing administrative support. Duties ranging from accounts payable, payroll, human resource, safe certification and anything else the team needs addressed. Along with balancing household duties for our busy family of 5.

Cody is a graduate of Okanagan College with a diploma in Network Engineering. He has a variety of previous experience from being a network technician in oil & gas to managing at Rona. He joined Consus in 2013 and grew into a leadership role with our utilities division, specializing in structural inspections, data collection, project coordination & drone operations.

Nick brings a decade of dedicated service to Consus Management, with expertise spanning silviculture, full-phase development, safety, and project management. His diverse professional background, both in the public and private sectors, places a strong emphasis on public safety, resiliency, leadership and management, making him a valuable asset to our team. Nick joined our team in 2014.

Tavis has over 10 years of work experience in the forest industry, specializing in Silviculture and obligation management. He oversees our silviculture survey field activities, and planting programs. Tavis has been with the company since 2014.

Rory Fogarty is a Registered Professional Biologist with 13 years of experience in environmental consulting and applied wildlife research and management. He has participated in and lead several large-scale research and inventory projects on ungulates and mesocarnivores, and he completed a Master’s degree through Thompson Rivers University with a project looking at the factors affecting the declines being seen in the Columbian population of fishers in central interior British Columbia. He has extensive expertise in forestry-related wildlife management, and as project manager of the Applied Biology and Environmental Services division at Consus strives to provide clients with creative solutions to balance both environmental and economic values.

Billy has been with Consus since 2014. He’s the lead Field Technician for most Operational Timber Development and Cruising Projects. He specializes in total chance planning and forest mensuration and has over 10 years of experience tackling a variety of field projects during his tenure with Consus.

Colby is a graduate of The University of Victoria with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Prior to joining Consus in 2017, he spent 10 years as a facility manager. Since joining Consus, Colby has been involved with supporting Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island BC Hydro Transmission projects. On going projects include overhead and underground corrosion testing, wood pole quality assurance inspections, pre-site data collection for pole replacements, project coordination, and data management support.

Mary joined the Consus Management Ltd in September 2017, bringing with her 20 years of work experience in GIS & Database Management. Mary began her GIS career as a Co-op Student at an engineering firm in Prince George, and has been working for Industry, Consultants and First Nations since moving to Williams Lake in 1999. She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, with a Specialization in GIS from UNBC. She is detail-oriented, proficient and endeavors to provide mapping solutions that contain all relevant data while still creating an aesthetically pleasing map.

Bryan is a graduate of VIU and started forestry work in 2008. Bryan joined Consus in 2019 and has worked in development, silviculture, and now specializes in implementing waste and residue surveys for the Cariboo region combining drone technology with field surveys.

Work has taken Heather to many parts of central and southern BC, as well as Western Washington, in both technical and supervisory roles. Heather has a bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Science from the University College of the Cariboo (now Thompson Rivers University) and has worked for government, institutions, industry and mostly private consulting during her career.

Nadia is a Registered Forest Technologist with over 10 years of experience working in the Forest Industry. Originally from Ontario, she worked her way across the country eventually settling in Vernon BC. Having worked for both the public and private sectors over the course of her career, she has gained valuable experience/ skillets to complement the Consus team. She joined Consus in April 2021.

Allie Affleck is a Registered Professional Forester with over 10 years of experience in the Forestry industry. She is a graduate of the University of Victoria and brings experience from working in consulting, industry, and government. Allie has expertise in landscape level planning activities, appraisals, and small licence management. She has been with the company since 2021.

Upon completion of a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Sean got his start working in progressive accounting roles in the oil and gas sector.
Driven by a passion for the environment, Sean chose to leave the accounting field and pursued a Forest Technology diploma and later a Master's degree in Sustainable Forest Management. Sean then embarked on a decade-long career with a major forestry company, with roles focused on timber marketing and forest harvesting operations. Joining Consus in 2023, Sean blends business acumen with environmental stewardship. He focuses on practicing sustainable natural resource management, navigating regulatory frameworks, and fostering relationships. He brings a holistic yet realistic approach to sustainable natural resource management demonstrating that economic prosperity and ecological responsibility are not mutually exclusive.
